Our Story
It started with two rescue dogs.
And the care they needed.
The Sunday Hound grew out of everyday life with Saint and Chloe — and a simple desire for dog-care products that worked well, felt good to use, and made more sense in the home.
Where It Began
This wasn't a search for more pet products. It was a search for better everyday care.
Saint has dealt with ongoing skin and allergy issues, which made grooming feel personal very quickly. Coat care stopped being something that happened only at bath time. It became something that needed to be gentle, consistent, and easy to keep up with.
Chloe has her own special-care needs, including megaesophagus. Her routine means more hands-on care, more cleanup, and more moments where the products around us either make the day easier or add another layer of complication.
Living that routine changed what we wanted from dog care. We wanted useful products without unnecessary complexity. We wanted fragrance that felt clean and considered. We wanted bottles that could live in the home without looking like an afterthought.

We started with the part people notice first: scent.
